My Nephew’s Wedding at Hammond Castle!

Posted by admin on Jul 15, 2010 in Decorating, Photography, Travel

Wow! When we heard that my nephew had chosen a location above Boston for his wedding we all didn’t understand why — but then we got there…. Just wow! Hammond Castle in Gloucester, Mass is just breathtaking. We drove up and took a short stroll down a flight of stairs and were confronted with a beautiful sight. Hammond Castle was built by John Hays Hammond, Jr. between 1926-29 as a wedding gift for his wife. Not only is it a beautiful setting for a wedding (see the pictures below) it is also a museum worth the tour. I highly recommend making the trip! Visit their website for more information: hammondcastle.org.

Posted by admin on May 10, 2010 in Decorating, design

Well, I admit, Thumbnail Designs has been slacking on our blog… but, for good reason! We’ve been so busy with design work that all our energy has gone into the new websites and print work that have been rolling out… For example, check out our latest website for Dubois Interiors! When Lu Dubois says her company offers “Premier Furnishings for the Design Community” she’s not kidding — her style is impeccable! How cool is this — a wine cellar that can fit easily in your floor and can hold up to 1,900 bottles of wine! What an exquisite design! That’s just what Spiral Cellars from the UK has brought us — “the quickest, cheapest and easiest way of building a wine cellar for your house.” Visit their website to learn more.

My cats are going to love these!

Posted by admin on Mar 23, 2009 in Cats!, Decorating, Great Finds

I have to add this to my shopping list — for my kitties! (I have five!!) They will love these, although I think I may be the one who’s entertained by watching them in their Cat Playhouses! Check them out at www.suck.uk.com! While you’re there, you have to check out the Villain Chair! That’s where I’ll be sitting as I watch my cats play with tanks. Purrfect.
